We understand that making the right accommodation arrangements is a really key part to having a successful time at the Academy. Whilst it is ultimately your responsibility to arrange your own accommodation, we will try and help you as much as we can to find a property that is suitable to both your needs and your budget.

Whilst this website is not run directly by the Leadership Academy we are affiliated with the site and it has several benefits:

• This website contains information about housing that is owned solely by landlords in our church.
• Virtually all the people who live in the houses listed on this site are other Academy students. So finding accommodation through this site should mean that you will be living with other students in your class (Contact the individual landlords to find out exactly who has already taken places in the houses).
• The vast majority of the houses are single sex.
• All the accommodation on this website is assessed to ensure that it meets certain requirements and so you can be assured that the houses represent value for money. 
• All the houses on the website are in the same area, within 10 minutes walk of the church campus.

Should you be able to visit Bradford before signing up for some accommodation, most landlords are easily contactable through the website and will arrange a viewing for you to see the house before you sign a contract.

If you cannot find suitable accommodation through www.templeliving.co.uk our team will help support you further in your search by putting you in touch with other accommodation providers.

Depending on the standard of housing that you are going to be living in, a typical room in a shared house will cost around £250 per month. This figure will not usually include any additional bills that you will need to pay such as gas, electricity, water and television license. If you are a family looking to rent a house, a typical price for a furnished 2-bedroom house will be about £500 per month. 

Most landlords will require you pay a deposit or bond amount and one month’s rent in advance. The deposit is usually equal to one months rent and will be returned to you when you move out of the property.

To help offset some of these costs, most students will opt to work part-time at some point during the year. If you manage your time well you can work up to 25 hours a week. Bradford is a large city and students find a wide variety of employment ranging from café and restaurant work to retail, customer service or call centre work.
