Two years ago we added the beautiful Lisa Bevere to our Cherish album and we all loved her instantly. We are so thrilled she is joining us again this year.

Lisa Bevere is a speaker and best-selling author of Fight Like a Girl, Kissed the Girls and Made Them Cry, Out of Control and Loving It! and Be Angry But Don’t Blow It! Through her books and conferences, women of all ages have found release and restoration as she challenges them to embrace fearless living, find freedom, and realise they are an answer and not a problem. In additional to national media, Lisa co-hosts ‘The Messenger’ with her husband John, which broadcasts to over 200 nations. When she is not out ‘fighting like a girl’, she makes her home in Colorado Springs, USA, with her husband and four sons.

I know you love making new Cherish friends and so let me introduce you to Maree. This is Maree’s first time with us at Cherish and I know you are going to adore her.

Maree and her husband Paul are the Senior Pastors and founders of LIFE Church in the heart of New Zealand’s largest city. LIFE has continued to grow and is now situated in six locations throughout Auckland.

Maree runs the women’s ministry at LIFE, with a focus on creating relationships with one another but most importantly to be challenged in their relationship with Jesus. In 2000 she initiated the Sistas Women’s Conference which has inspired and encouraged thousands of women from all over New Zealand and the South Pacific. Maree’s heart is for women to be empowered to see beyond their own circumstances into the lives of others, so they can make a difference in this generation.
